Washington, D.C. – Congressman Fred Keller (R-PA) Friday applauded the Department of Energy awarding $1 million to Penn State University as part of the Department’s initiative to accelerate advanced vehicle technologies research.
The $1 million awarded to Penn State, funded through the Department’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, is to be used for research in developing materials for high-energy-density solid state lithium-sulfur batteries.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Fred Keller (PA-12) today announced his appointment to the House Committee on Education and Labor and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform for the 116th Congress, assignments that fit both Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District and Keller’s background.
Keller was also appointed by Republican Leadership to serve on the House Energy Action Team (HEAT), which promotes energy policies that address rising energy prices, promote good-paying jobs, and enhance national security by supporting American energy independence.
