Congressman Fred Keller announces FEMA grant to Franklin Twp. road repairs

RANKLIN TWP., SUSQUEHANNA CO. (WOLF) — Congressman Fred Keller announces FEMA grant to Franklin Township, Susquehanna County. This grant will be worth $1,331,220 and used as a way to repair roadways that were damaged during August 2018 storms.


The grant award is anticipated to cover 75% of the repair project.

In late 2019, FEMA awarded $1,277,946.65 in federal funding to Franklin Township for roadway repairs.

On the award of the grant, Congressman Fred Keller (R-PA) made the following statement:

“Projects to recover from devastating natural disasters are the kind of infrastructure projects that are vitally important to rural communities like Franklin Township. I am glad to see this money awarded in order to help remediate the damage from 2018’s devastating storms.”
