Pennsylvania’s work search requirements will resume this week as pandemic-related policies end across the country.
Residents filing jobless claims are required to actively search for a position to qualify for the benefits. This prerequisite existed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and was suspended when Gov. Wolf declared a state of emergency in March 2020.
Veterans across the country and right here in Central Pennsylvania are having a difficult time getting their own military records, making it nearly impossible for them to get the benefits and care they need.
One year, five months and 16 days (approximately).
That’s how long it’s been since COVID-19 was discovered in the United States.
Since then, more than 100,000 small businesses have been destroyed, an entire generation of students have fallen behind, and, tragically, more than 600,000 Americans have died.
