A bill to rename the Laceyville Post Office in honor of Melinda “Mindy” Gene Piccotti has moved out of committee and is now going to the full U.S. House of Representatives for a vote.
U.S. Rep. Fred Keller made the announcement of the bill’s advancement in a statement on Thursday, Dec. 19.
The bill was advanced out of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, said Keller.
