Keller on 2021: vaccine, small businesses & working families are 'priority'
(WOLF) — Our representatives are back in Washington this week-- sworn in to start a new year and new session.
In our area- Congressmen Fred Keller (R), along with Matt Cartwright (D) and Dan Meuser (R) all started a new term after winning in the November election.
Keller says there are several things he's focused on to improve the 12th congressional district. which covers the Susquehanna Valley and Northern Tier.
"Infrastructure, broadband internet access, natural gas development with pipelines," Keller said Tuesday. "Economic development, as far as career and technology training for individuals' education. So I think that's a huge thing, not just in PA-12 but across the commonwealth and across the nation."
"It has been the honor of my life to represent the hardworking people of Pennsylvania’s 12th District. I am proud of the work our team has been able to accomplish and look forward to building on those successes heading into the new session," Keller wrote in a statement earlier in the week.
Keller and Meuser begin their second terms in Washington, while Cartwright begins his fifth.
