The 9/11 Memorial Coalition Rolled out with thousands of bikes in-tow to commemorate 20 years since the attacks that shook America in the biggest ride since its inception a week after the attack.

Penn State College Republicans organized a memorial service on Old Main lawn Friday to pay tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The service fell one day before the 20th anniversary of the tragedy.

On Thursday, the night before the event, students planted 2,977 American flags on Old Main lawn — each representing a victim of 9/11.

JERSEY SHORE — The production line of Jersey Shore Steel is all about heating raw steel angles and fabricating them into products for market.

U.S. Representative Fred Keller, R-Kreamer, for one, came away impressed by the operation following a recent tour of the Avis plant.

“You are taking a product and repurposing it,” he told company officials.
