Congressman Fred Keller announces federal grant to Lock Haven University to develop rural cyber resiliency program
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Fred Keller announced on Wednesday that the United States Department of Agriculture has awarded a Rural Investment grant of $99,000 to Lock Haven University so the Small Business Development Center located at the university can develop a Rural Technology, Innovation and Cyber Resiliency consulting and training program.
The programming developed as a result of this grant will be shared as best practices with other Small Business Development Centers located in Pennsylvania providing technical assistance to small businesses located in other rural communities throughout North Central PA.
“Having toured Lock Haven University just a few weeks ago, I can attest to their ability to carry out the task of being a leader in developing the programming for other Small Business Development Centers across Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District,” Congressman Keller said. “The ability to soon have this resource in central and northeastern Pennsylvania will allow our small business community to grow and thrive.”
