Hears higher education priorities from university officials, receives update on campus upgrades and current research projects

Selinsgrove, Pa. – Congressman Fred Keller (R-PA) Thursday toured Susquehanna University where he heard from university officials about their higher education priorities for him to take back to Congress and work on while on the House Education and Labor Committee.

“Susquehanna University is a terrific institution of higher education and is a great asset to central Pennsylvania in terms of facilities, jobs, and research opportunities,” Congressman Keller said.

While at Susquehanna University, Congressman Keller received an update on current ongoing research at the university’s Freshwater Research Institute and toured the School of Business where he discussed his first three months in Congress with professors and university officials.

“During my tour, I was able to see incredible improvements to the university and the contributions to research and conservation the school is providing that extend well beyond Selinsgrove. I am proud of the work Susquehanna University is doing right here in the heart of Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.”
