Just prior to Congressman Keller’s remarks, Republicans were united in a bipartisan vote opposing the resolution.

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) — Lawmakers say rural hospitals are at a financial disadvantage.
“The hospitals in rural America should have the same benefit if they’re providing a procedure as the hospitals in the urban settings,” Pennsylvania Rep. Fred Keller said.
In a media release, Representative Fred Keller announced that the FCC has authorized around $20 million in funding to be spent over the next decade to expand broadband in rural Pennsylvania.
Over the ten years, Viasat Carrier Services is looking to serve more than 45,000 locations.
U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Zionsville, took aim Thursday at Gov. Tom Wolf’s restrictions to help stem the spread of coronavirus in the state.
