PORT ROYAL — Rep. Fred Keller, R-Selinsgrove, announced Thursday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded $111,800 in Rural Development investment money to Friendship Fire Company No. 1 in Port Royal.

The award includes a $64,000 loan and $47,800 grant.

The money will go toward paving the fire company’s parking lot and installing a storm water system.
